Letter dated 16 May 2022

Hey y'all, This week was pretty great! We were able to meet with one of our friends named Melody and extended a date for baptism on June 4. We decided to do this after we read from the Book of Mormon together and the Spirit was palpable. She has a lot to learn, but she is excited to have the gift of the Holy Ghost in her life. I was also given the chance to give a talk to the ward this Sunday about modern day prophets so I shared my testimony of President Nelson and our modern day apostles. One thing really special I felt prompted to share was how President Nelson visited our extended Wilson family when both my grandparents passed away because he is a genuine and close minister of the faith, not some kind of far away paragon. I really enjoyed it and it went well. We also had some wonderful opportunities to minister to those in our ward who were in need as well as teach new and old friends.
