Hey y'all,
This week was pretty great! We were able to meet with one of our friends named Melody and extended a date for baptism on June 4. We decided to do this after we read from the Book of Mormon together and the Spirit was palpable. She has a lot to learn, but she is excited to have the gift of the Holy Ghost in her life.
I was also given the chance to give a talk to the ward this Sunday about modern day prophets so I shared my testimony of President Nelson and our modern day apostles. One thing really special I felt prompted to share was how President Nelson visited our extended Wilson family when both my grandparents passed away because he is a genuine and close minister of the faith, not some kind of far away paragon. I really enjoyed it and it went well.
We also had some wonderful opportunities to minister to those in our ward who were in need as well as teach new and old friends. I love this work and I am excited for this new week. God be with you till next time,

Dear all y'all,
It has been a crazy week.
I started this week off with teaching Seminary so Elder Shaw and I covered what the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant are. I compared the building of the ark to asking Elon Musk to design the very best and most beautiful seat for Jehova to sit on so that was a funny analogy to Bezaleel who actually built the Ark.
After that day we helped several people out with service including making some concrete, doing mulch, and painting as well as teaching some awesome lessons with our friends. That was spread throughout the week so it was pretty fantastic.
Now, time for the eventful things.
A gang of mice have raided our church building. We found out when we saw one of the varmints in the clerk's office and we were able to catch and dispose of him. We then discovered that the mother's room had been sabotaged with a large mess of eaten ceiling tiles just in time for Mother's day. Elder Shaw with the help of a vacuum restored the sanctuary back to its former beauty and we will be on the look out for such critters in the future. After telling our bishop about this he suggested we get a "chapel cat" which I think would be splendid decision. Hopefully he will be named "Chappy the Chaple Cat". (For those worried for the health and safety of the members of the Papermill Ward the exterminators were called promptly after our run in).
Finally last night we were invited to participate in a remote control car derby with one of the inactive members we have befriended so that was a lot of fun and a nice way to ease up a little bit and spend time with our brother.
Hope everyone is doing well and I will write again next week. God bless!

Dear everybody,
This week was awesome, I got a new companion and his name is Elder Shaw! We did some good work, helped a lot of members and taught some people. All around it was a little hectic transitioning to the new teansfer so I didn't take any pictures, but it has been great. Hope everyone is well,
God bless,

Happy 25th of April y'all,
Since it is the perfect date because it is not too hot or too cold and all you need is a light jacket I have had a great day (that was a movie reference for those who didn't understand my stunning humor)
It truly has been a great day and a great week to boot. I had interviews with President Harris, exchanges, wonderful visits with members, and wonderful visits with prospective members.
In my interview with my mission president it was great to receive his feedback, insights, and general wisdom which he carries. It was exactly what I needed and interestingly enough he told Elder Cameron and I that Elder Cameron would be leaving the area a week in advance so we were able to visit more members to say goodbye that we likely would have.
I went on exchanges with Elder Apolônio from the Clear Springs Portuguese branch and it was a little silly because neither of us drive so we ended walking to a our appointments which was envigorating to say the least. It was pretty fun though since I finally felt like I was doing missionary work how I viewed missionary work as a kid so it was fun to live my fantasy.
Lastly, I have been blessed to be in this amazing area. The ward has been strengthened, our friends have grown in faith, and I have grown tremendously since the day I got onto my MTC Zoom meeting (not just in weight).
Love you all, it is a pleasure to even be in your thoughts. God bless you,

Happy Easter everyone!
This week was pretty cool because we spent the entire time getting everyone we talked to to attend and enjoy Easter! It was a great focus to have in our message to help others come to Christ and I am glad we did it. The highlights of the week were that I had my final checkup at urgent care about my broken toe. They looked at it a little more and decided that I don't need to come back again so I am basically healed from that. I can finally go back to my old ways of cutting wood and breaking toes without any worries!
We also were also invited to teach early morning seminary for a class and Elder Cameron came up with an ingenious idea. In order to wake up the students he decided we needed a dynamic object lesson. Together we came up with this lesson plan. The lesson was about not procrastinating the day of our repentance. I was given a jug of milk with only about a cup of milk left. Elder Cameron was given a gallon of milk filled to the brim. We told the students that we were given a week to drink a gallon of milk. My gallon had been drunk from a small amount each day until I only had a small amount left so I proceeded to drink the rest of it. Elder Cameron on the other hand had not drunk his milk throughout the week but still had to drink the entire gallon of milk. Elder Cameron proceeded to chug the entire gallon. After drinking about half he threw up into a pre-prepared garbage can. We closed by saying that when we want to do something we should never wait until the last possible second to change but to instead start the moment we can. Needless to say we had the attention of the class. We ended up sharing experiences from our missions and the class was attentive and awake. It was a very silly thing to do but it worked in our favor.
Lastly, the Easter program went really well! I was able to perform in the ward choir which was super fun, the primary kids sang so well, and we got a new Bishop! Bishop Bryan was our previous bishop and now our bishop is Bishop Stevens! We are looking forward to this new change and excited for him and his family!
Anyways, love you lots, here are some flowers and birds,
SIncerely,
Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler
