Letter dated 7Mar2022
Dear family and friends,
I finally got my medical shoe taken off! My toe is still mending but they recommended I wear normal shoes again so I rolled up to church in some cowboy boots for the first time in a while. Pretty great feeling honestly. It does still hurt to walk a lot without my cane so I usually use it on and off. Other than that not too much has been happening. Me and Elder Cameron had interviews earlier this week which was great and I went on a good exchange with my district leader. We also had to get our car looked at which took a long time but we can drive safely now which is good!
Last week however I had a very cool experience of getting to know a woman who has been in the paper mill area for a long time. Her name is Mama T and she is a very kind evangelical Christian Lady. She was very kind towards us and had asked if we could help her find a missing purse that she had lost. Though we couldn't find it she fed us lunch and prayed for each of us in a very heartfelt way. We will continue to help and serve her in other ways in the coming weeks.
Other than that, we have met with many members and have taught a few lessons here and there but nothing too big. I did make some concrete which was cool and a little back back breaking. I hope everyone is well and I miss yall alot!
Love,
Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler
