Dear y'all,
I wrote this on Thursday instead of Monday this week because I got to go the temple today! In any case, on with the updates!
We started teaching a wonderful man named Richard Guyton! Heis ready to hear about the gospel and sincerely has a desire to join the church which is a phenomenal. Currently we are helping him read the Book of Mormon and get an understanding and testimony of this wonderful book. We were also able to have a church tour with another one of our friends named Corine and we introduced her to the relief society while they were doing a service event. It was a wonderful opportunity for the Lord to work through the ward. Lastly, we have generally had a great time working and finding friends! We are teaching more, finding more and seeing greater miracles. We had a phone call with one friends in particular who we have not been able to see in a very long time due to difficulties in her life, but she has been attending church over zoom. Her name is Jennifer and she thanked us for being her Brothers and letting her attend the ward. All of these experiences made a sublime week 37 of the mission!
Since the last week, its been kinda crazy. We got a brand new car from the mission, had apartment inspections, service projects, I got a gig as a mission caroling director, and of course going to the temple!
Its been great!
Anyways, love y'all!

Good day everybody!
Since last Thursday we as a companionship have visited many members of the ward, had some awesome lesson miracles, and have been having to vanquish and eviscerate the forces of darkness cuz gosh darn it, I am pretty upset with satan right now. We had several people promise to come to church and get to meet with the ward but whether it was last minute anxiety or literally everything going wrong so that they couldn't get a ride to church or watch church online no one was able to attend. Fortunately, we are on the Lord's errand so his desires will win out eventually! We also got to attend an ice cream social which was awesome.
Oh also, I don't need the cane anymore!
Love yall,
Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler

Dear y'all,
This week was good, but I will need to be short in writing. We began tracting which was super fun and I personally really enjoy it. We also were fed by our wonderful members for several days and they are all wonderful! Bother Elder Cameron and I will be staying in the Papermill area do I am looking forward to being in the ward choir for Easter.
We also met a man while tracting who was trying to convert us to Hinduism and he gave us the most intriguing booklet conceivable and used vegetarianism as his basis and the backbone of his argument. I guess interplanetary travel via yoga is more fascinating to some than the literal restoration of Christ's church. Oh well, we will find those eager for OUR message!
Love you all and have a good one!

Dear family and friends,
I finally got my medical shoe taken off! My toe is still mending but they recommended I wear normal shoes again so I rolled up to church in some cowboy boots for the first time in a while. Pretty great feeling honestly. It does still hurt to walk a lot without my cane so I usually use it on and off. Other than that not too much has been happening. Me and Elder Cameron had interviews earlier this week which was great and I went on a good exchange with my district leader. We also had to get our car looked at which took a long time but we can drive safely now which is good!
Last week however I had a very cool experience of getting to know a woman who has been in the paper mill area for a long time. Her name is Mama T and she is a very kind evangelical Christian Lady. She was very kind towards us and had asked if we could help her find a missing purse that she had lost. Though we couldn't find it she fed us lunch and prayed for each of us in a very heartfelt way. We will continue to help and serve her in other ways in the coming weeks.
Other than that, we have met with many members and have taught a few lessons here and there but nothing too big. I did make some concrete which was cool and a little back back breaking. I hope everyone is well and I miss yall alot!
Love,

Goooood evening y'all,
Sorry about the week delayed letter, I was just very preoccupied last week during my preparation day, but let's hop onto the updates.
Since last time I went on exchanges with the Portuguese Elders who are in my district. That was super awesome and fun to be able to spend time in another area, but it was slightly less awesome and fun being unable to speak or understand the language. Oh well!
We taught one of our friends named Zhane the Plan of Salvation and the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. He struggles to find faith so hopefully these lesson were able to show him the nature and love of both our heavenly father and of Jesus Christ.
We did two service projects for one of our members named Brother Terry. One of them we cleaned the church building/raked some leaves for Brother Terry's friends and the other one we dug out the septic pipe for his son since it broke. That one smelled just as wonderful as you can imagine.
We had two different zone activities. One was an ice cream social where we presented our ward mission plan to the stake and a zone conference which was a wonderful 6.5 hour long meeting. It was honestly wonderful and filled with the Spirit. Elder Cameron and I also performed a musical number called "I Will Serve Thee" for zone conference which was fun.
Elder Cameron and I were also able to perform yesterday during sacrament meeting a piece called "Greater Miracles". We got many compliments from the ward so hopefully that is a good sign!
Finally the reason I was unable to write a letter last week on Valentine's was because, drum roll please....
I got to play Dungeons and Dragons with the other lonely Elders (crickets). For real though, it was super fun to share one of my passions with others and I played it again today with my district which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Hope you all are doing well, and I hope all continue to be well.
Sincerely,
Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler
