Letter dated 15Nov2021

Dear family, friends, familiarized friends, and friendly family, I had my very first actual transfer of my mission this week! I am officially out of Commerce and will now be serving in the Azalea Spanish Branch and the Chestatee English Ward in the Coal Mountain Stake. Currently I live in Cumming Georgia in case anyone wanted to see where exactly that it. This past week has been pretty interesting since we as a companionship are white washing or working in an area none of have been in before since we completely replaced the previous Chestatee Elders. It has been really fun getting to know the members and figuring out the area and getting to know and teach with my new companions. By the way, my new companions are Elder Bird. Elder Bird is assigned to serve in Peru and he actually came in right when I did. Elder Galvez is also assigned to Peru and this is his second transfer so I am technically training now. Both of them are fantastic missionaries and it has been a pleasure being able to serve with them this week Now that I am serving in a Spanish Branch I have been able to use a lot more espaƱol which has been really good! On top of that since we are in a more populated area we get to teach more people in general which is exciting! One cool experience we had was when we helped a man move his car. While we were in a gas station calling some contacts we a car slowly pull to the side of the road and stop. We went to check out the situation and the man's car had just broken down. We offered to push it into a safe place and so we three missionaries on a cold road pushed the car into the parking lot. He was eager to talk to us afterward and even asked us if we could teach him about our church which was cool! I love and miss you all so much, I hope all of you have a wonderful time this almost holiday season! Sincerely, Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler Ps I was asked to do a musical number this next week for the Azalea branch since I offered to direct the congregation. Should be fun!
