Dear y'all, This week was kinda wild honestly. On tuesday my companion elder Lind wanted to make us chicken tacos which I was really excited about... until I realized how long it takes to make chicken tacos. Fortunately they tasted fantastic, but later that same day we were asked to judge a cooking competition for the youth in the ward and as much as I loved the enthusiasm they had I did not love eating sweet tart smoothies, but it was still frun to do something silly with them! On Wednesday we taught some good lessons and was great to see just how much Elder Elmer has been improving in his teaching skill! Later that night we visited a recent convert who has been going through some difficult times and it was nice to comfort him help out. pray for Quincy Saphore, he is wonderful! On Thursday we went on exchanges and it was super cool actually. We at one point taught this one lady who supposedly had a vision about the spirit world and premortality so it was cool to go over the plan of salvation with her and for her to look at it and agree with our steps of eternal progression. We also had like 7 backup appointments in the evening and ALL of them fell through which was not my favorite thing in the world but at least we had stuff to do which took up our time. On Friday I introduced my new companions to the Chavez family which was really sweet. Then, terror struck the apartment. Elder Lind woke up Saturday morning sick and then he accidently took a lot of nyquil and was loopy ALL DAY! Other than the fact we had to figure out a weird exchange situation for the day it was pretty funny seeing Elder Lind do stuff since he was so out of it. We also helped take care of a trunk for a trunk or treat event. We were in charge of caging a veloceraptor so that was terrifying. Lastly yesterday we finished teaching Jill Rice the discussions and she is excited to be baptized soon! Hope life is going well and that everyone is living a good life. For everyone who is reading this, I love and appreciate you, you are Epic! Sincerely, Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler

Dear y'all, This past week was pretty crazy because I am leading the area with two new companions. They are both very energetic however so it hasn't been hard. Currently I am companions with Elder Lind who is from Oakley Idaho and Elder Elmer who is from Sacramento California. Elder Lind and I are training Elder Elmer and it's been fun to see him grow and learn from different contacts or lessons. Even when he faces rejection at first contacts he does it with a smile which is probably the most important thing to remember. Here is how our week panned out On Tuesday we gave a member who has been traveling around a lot a blessing after she went to the hospital and it was a really sweet visit especially since it was Elder Elmers first blessing he helped with On Wednesday we did a lot of knocking and contacting with one of the youth in the Pilgrim Mill ward and it was fun going over how to teach the gospel and effective door approaches with him and Elder Elmer. We also did some visits with another member who referred a few of his friends to us which was a cool opportunity for us to connect more with the ward. The next day was kind of funny because we were doing some inspired visits at 8 o'clock so right around when it starts to get dark. There was a specific member that for whatever reason I felt inspired to visit. As we walked through his neighborhood and to his house we felt pretty uneasy and none of the lights were on adding to the shady atmosphere. After some hesitation I offered a prayer and I felt comforted to knock on the door but my companions still said it was a bad idea. Suddenly his neighbor popped out of her door and asked what we were doing. We told her our purpose and that we were checking on her neighbor. She said we should knock on the door so we did. Our member no longer lives there but a very sweet mother named Jenay does. We set a return appointment with her and it turned out to be a fun finding experience! Lastly on the weekend we just did a lot of lessons and stuff, but we did get to hear one of our members play harmonica at a local gig which was pretty fun actually. Also, the infamous Timothy Paul Buckalew is doing well other than the fact that sickness is still assailing him. Hope everyone has a great week, love you guys! Sincerely, Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler

Dear yall, This past week was very wonderful and is a good transition for what will happen next. We faced a lot of opposition and many people were uninterested in hearing about the gospel but we continued firm in crying repentance to anyone we met. We were able to visit a lot of friends of members in our wards which was productive and fun to see how friendships had allowed people to receive the Gospel. Sadly most of them are uninterested at this time but they know where to find us and that we are always willing to help. We also said goodbye to one of my favorite missionaries named Elder Cabral, but Elder Batista my companion will be taking his spot after transfers which is tomorrow. Elder Bateman is also being transferred out to the Ettowa Valley Ward leaving me in Pilgrim Mill and Fowler Park all by my lonesome. I will be getting two new companions, one of whom is a brand new missionary so I will be training! The district is changing quite dramatically with this news and one of the Sisters named Sister Mathews will also be going home and her replacement will be Sister Carrell who will be companions with Sister Carroll (not to make anything confusing). All in all it is hard to say goodbye to such great missionaries, but I am excited for this new transition. I also found a few more monsters. I hope all is well and have a wonderful week everybody! Sincerely, Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schinder

Dear y'all, This past week was fun because I had to walk around with a pretty nasty poison ivy rash! I think I got it last pday when our district went on a hike together. I highly recommend not touching poison ivy for any curious people back home, it isn't as awesome as you would think. Other than that we had a pretty sweet week. One of our friends who had been progressing had her kids over when we came to teach. Sadly due to some legal issues we are not allowed to teach about specifically the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with them so instead we just studied the Bible with them which was kind of fun. The following day we went on exchanges and we got Bible bashed pretty hard by a lady who's mother was a member. Fortunately we have the gift of the Holy Ghost so we testified boldly and set up a return appointment. We will see if it gets any better the next time we visit and if she gets back on the covenant. Sadly a lot of our visits have turned into bashes recently but I appreciate every prayer anyone has given in regards to my missionary service because our friend Timothy Paul Buckalew is back from being sick! He wants to get back to church and be baptized so we are very excited for him! We also met a new friend named Joe who is very interested in the message of the restoration and he was going to watch conference with us and our mission president but sadly he had to cancel. General Conference was still such an amazing event to have and I loved the talks that were given. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Hurricane Ian has not affected northern Georgia very much so we have been okay. God be with you, Elder Nicholas Nephi William Schindler

Dear Y'all, This week was pretty good. we had dinner at a vegetarian household one day so the orange "chicken" was actually orange tofu... which surprising was pretty good! It was kind of weird though since most of our lessons canceled so we did a lot more finding than usual. Lastly, we had a lesson with our friend Kamran which was pretty interesting. He believes that every religion is 100% true even when they disagreee with one another so it was an interesting discussion. Hope everyone is doing well, God bless!
